BRIEF:
If ever there was a great story to tell from the world of Scotch Whisky, then this must get a hearing – a distillery passing back into private ownership after years of obscurity as part of a drinks Giant! The client wanted to convey the sense of excitement and expectation of the ‘discovery’ of a ‘lost’ and single malt whisky distillery with a real past and history.
APPROACH:
The BenRiach team are so infectiously enthusiastic about the product that it was a delight to listen and talk about their vision for the future. We spent time at the distillery (sadly out of commission at the time!) and spoke with the distillery staff listening to their stories and aspirations. We ran a photo shoot, pulled the copy and graphics and became true Ben Riach aficionados … (not a difficult task!) The brochure was designed in parallel with our software divisions development of the Ben Riach web site.
OUTCOME:
The finished printed matter strongly reflects the character and style of Ben Riach and has provided a tangible means of supporting the re-launch of the brand working with exhibition material and the content managed web site. Ben Riach has generated much talk in the industry and since production restarted over the summer, output is more than doubled such has been the forward demand – whilst mature stock is fast filling the supply channels.
