BRIEF:
The Pioneer brand was a 'shelved' brand for the client when we were engaged to provide brand consultancy and although it had been used piecemeal over a number of years, had fallen out of use and was gathering dust in the archives. The client was looking to re-establsih themselves in the outdoor liesure equipment supply market and the brief was very open. They simply wanted a direction and focal point to move the business forward.
APPROACH:
We 'uncovered' the Pioneer label when completing a review of the client's business operations and early on turned our attention to how the name - which we believed had great potential, could become the driver for the company's future. The key was to take the name and establish an exciting and market embracing presentation and we wanted to follow a 'label' direction seeing the value in product branding. We knew the market was very image driven and so we had to ensure any brand/logo was going to have high impact and clarity.
OUTCOME:
The finished branding was very successful, supporting the client's activity with a major market share initiative driven through a number of promotional initiatives embracing a new catalogue, exhibition stand and product advertising campaign. The logo was carried forward to spearhead the introduction of a range of own brand products which the company launched into the price driven sector of their market.
